Kaitlin Files has built her entire legal career around one mission: standing up for injured workers across Pennsylvania. She has focused solely on this area of the law since her time in law school, and for more than a decade she has represented injured workers throughout the Commonwealth—primarily in the Philadelphia and Bucks County areas—with a record of proven success.
Kaitlin spent her first six years out of law school at a high-volume firm practicing workers’ compensation, where she gained deep, hands-on experience handling a steady stream of complex claims. She now runs her own boutique firm, where she continues to represent injured workers throughout the region while giving each client the kind of personal attention that larger practices often can’t. Representing her clients with grit and grace, Kaitlin gives every new case her undivided attention and walks each person through the process step by step. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.

Community & Professional Involvement
Kaitlin is an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, where she serves as co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section. She is also a member of the Bucks County Bar Association, the Bristol Business Association, Philadelphia VIP, Southeastern Pennsylvania Legal Aid, and The Wright Legacy.
Beyond her practice, Kaitlin coaches a high school mock trial team in Philadelphia, and she hopes to one day coach a local girls’ basketball team as well.
Local Roots
Born and raised in Bucks County, Kaitlin returned home to bring her community the expertise of a big Philadelphia firm with the personal touch of a local one. She loves both the Bucks County and Philadelphia areas—frequenting local shops and restaurants, always on the hunt for a new spot to try, and exploring the region’s parks and trail systems. When the Sixers or Eagles are playing, you’ll likely find her at the game or cheering with friends and family nearby. And come fall, don’t be surprised to learn she’s back in South Bend for a Notre Dame football game.
